This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the third respondent in not allotting the seat in Agricultural B.Sc. to the petitioner under the Children of Armed Personal category, as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently, direct the third respondent to conduct the counselling forthwith and allot the seat in Agricultural B.Sc. to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the very purpose of filing the writ petition has become infructuous. 3.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
