ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of the 1st respondent in prescribing requirement of approval of the 4th respondent for grant of affiliation to the petitioner institution for pharmacy related programs (B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacyh) for the academic year 2016-17 in addition to the grant of approval by the 3rd respondent for the said courses.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned G.P. for Higher Education, Smt. M. Indrani, learned Standing Counsel appearing for Pharmacy Council of India and Sri A. Abhishek Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for JNTU and perused the material on record.

Having considered the rival submissions and considering the material available on record I deem it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to process the application said to have been made by the petitioner in pursuance of the notification issued in February, 2016 and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law. However, it is made clear that disposal of this writ petition does not preclude the petitioners to raise all the questions that are raised in this writ petition, if necessity arises. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
