HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.39988 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to quash the suspect sheet against him and to direct the respondents not to interfere with his liberty. 2.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

It is stated in the affidavit that respondents Nos.2 to 5 opened a suspect sheet against the petitioner and they used to maintain it alleging that the petitioner involved in criminal cases. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the criminal cases filed against him were ended in acquittal and at present, there are no cases pending against him, and he made a representation to the respondents on 28.6.2016 seeking to delete the suspect sheet No.635 pending against him. But the respondents have not responded so far.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass the following Order:

"The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh representation to the respondents herein on or before 30th November, 2016 seeking to delete the suspect sheet. On such representation being filed, the respondents are directed to consider and dispose of the same." 5.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
