Petitioners have filed an Appeal No.4021 of 2012 before the 2nd respondent under the provisions of the A.P. Assigned Land (Prohibition of Transfers) Act, 1977 (for short 'the Act') but no action is being taken by the 2nd respondent for disposal of the said appeal till date.
2. The Government Pleader for Assignment appearing for respondents states that the 2nd respondent will consider and dispose of the said appeal within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners.
3. In view of the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider and dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners within a period of three (03) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision thereon to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.
4. Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand dismissed.
