This Criminal Petition, under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused No.1, for grant of anticipatory bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.186 of 2017 on the file of the Atmakur Police Station, Kurnool District, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 498-A, 323, 506, 468 read with Section 34 of I.P.C. and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. 2 .
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused No.1, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondent-State and perused the record.

There are specific allegations against the petitioner/ accused No.1 constituting offences punishable under Sections 420, 498-A, 323, 506, 468 read with Section 34 of I.P.C. and Sections 3 & 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. It is brought to the notice of this Court that this Court, by order, dated 27.09.2017, passed in W.P.No.33009 of 2017, had directed the concerned police to follow the provisions of Section 41-A of the Code of the Criminal Procedure, 1973, and the guidelines of the Apex Court in Ar n ish Ku m ar Vs. St at e of Bih ar 1. Under these circumstances, there is nothing to take a different view. The Criminal Petition is devoid of merit and is liable to be dismissed.
