THE HONOURABLE Dr.JUSTICE B.SIVA SANKARA RAO I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2018 in/and Criminal Petition Nos.7282 and 12234 of 2018 COMMON ORDER :
The petitioners in Crl.P.No.7282 of 2018 are A.1 to A.3 and the petitioner in Crl.P.No.12234 of 2018 is A.4 in Cr.No.451 of 2017 of SHO, WPS, DD, Hyderabad, registered for the offences punishable u/ sec.498-A and 406IPC and Sec.3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, on the report of the 2nd respondent/ defacto complainant no other than wife of A.1-Abhishek Sengupta, sisterin-law of A.4-Aniket Sengupta and daughter-in-law of A.2 and A.3. The petitions I.A.Nos.3 of 2018 in both the Criminal Petitions filed by father (Arunava Sengupta-A.3) of the A.1 and A.4 to permit SPl.Power of Attorney (for short, 'SPA') to represent his sons-the A.1 and A.4, is allowed.
The A.1 to A.4 and the defacto-complainant along with their counsel present before the Court and they stated that they have settled the dispute between them amicably and sought permission vide I.A.Nos.4 of 2018 in both the cases to compromise the matter and compound the offence.
In view of the compromise between the parties, the same is recorded and they are permitted to compound the offences. In the result, the I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2018 in both the Criminal Petitions are allowed. Consequently, both the Criminal Petitions are also allowed quashing the proceedings against the
respective petitioners/ A.1 to A.3 and A.4 in Cr.No.451 of 2017 of SHO, WPS, DD, Hyderabad. The petitioners/ A.1 to A.4 are acquitted and their bail bonds shall stand cancelled.
