This petition is filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner-accused for the offences alleged under Sections 420, 468, 409 and 471 r/w 34 IPC.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner-accused, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State and perused the record. 3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner did not work in Vaddipa village. She has not manipulated any records and she did not fabricate any record. A false report was lodged by the Tahsildar on 27.11.2015. She filed O.A. before the Administrative Tribunal and the same is pending. The case of the prosecution is totally false and ultimately, prayed to grant bail to the petitioner.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner.

The material placed on record reveals that the Tahsildar has conducted an enquiry and found that the petitioner, formerly Village Officer of Vaddipa village, committed grave irregularities, such as tampering revenue records intentionally in 1-B and adangal for the land held by Smt. P.Veeraragavamma and manipulated the records to an extent of Ac.90.64 cents covered by different survey numbers with a mala fide intention and in collusion with other persons to enable them to get loans from the banks. It is also brought to the notice of this Court that the
petitioner is under suspension. There are specific allegations of tampering the record and making false entries in the revenue record to benefit Veerapathrudu and others. The matter was also brought to the notice of the R.D.O. and District Collector concerned and they directed the officers concerned to lodge a report with the police against the petitioner and others for tampering the records. The matter requires thorough investigation. Therefore, it is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C.
