Naumene Suraparaj Karlapalem, S/o Sarva Bhouma Rao ..... Petitioner And:
The District Legal Services Authority, reptd., by its Member Secretary, Hyderabad and four others.
.....Respondents Counsel for the petitioner: Mr. Naumene Suraparaj Karlapalem Party-in-person Counsel for respondent No.1: Mr. J.Anil Kumar Counsel for respondent Nos.2 & 3: AGP for Home (TS) Counsel for respondent No.4: Mrs. M.Bhaskara Lakshmi The Court made the following:
CVNR, J & JUD, J WP.No.10485 of 2016 Dated:29.6.2017 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy) This Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus to set aside award, dated 27.8.2015, in Crime No.272 of 2015 on the file of respondent No.1.
At the hearing, the petitioner, who appeared in person, submitted that during the pendency of this Writ Petition, the matrimonial disputes between him on the one side and his former wife, who is no other than the daughter of respondent No.4, on the other side have been settled, by which the marriage has been dissolved between them. He has further submitted that in view of this subsequent event, though he is convinced that the Lok Adalat Award permitting compounding of the offence without his consent is not sustainable, he does not intend to pursue the Writ Petition. He however requested the Court to make it clear that respondent Nos.4 and 5 cannot enter into any transaction on behalf of the petitioner's former wife so as to affect his interests.
In the light of the above submissions of the petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of as not pressed, by making it clear that any future act of respondent Nos.4 and 5 purporting to be done on behalf of the former wife of the petitioner shall not bind the latter.
CVNR, J & JUD, J WP.No.10485 of 2016 Dated:29.6.2017 As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, interim order, dated 31.3.2016, is vacated and WPMP.Nos.13216 and 54234 of 2016 are disposed of as infructuous.
