HONOURABLE JUSTICE G. SRI DEVI CRIMINAL PETITION No. 12271 of 2018 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking quashing of the proceedings in C.C.No.635 of 2017 on the file of the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad. 2.
A charge sheet came to be filed against the petitioners for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 420 and 406 IPC. 3.
Though the present Criminal Petition is filed seeking quashing of entire proceedings, but learned counsel for the petitioners restricts his prayer seeking dispensation of the presence of the petitioners before the trial Court on every date of adjournment.

The learned Public Prosecutor submits that since the identity of petitioners is not in dispute, their presence in the above C.C. may not be necessary on every date of adjournment.

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the personal appearance of the petitioners in C.C.No.635 of 2017 on the file of the VI Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, is hereby dispensed with except on the dates when their presence is specifically required by the Court. The petitioners shall be represented by their counsel.

With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel thereto, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Criminal Petition, shall stand closed.
