This Criminal Petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed to quash the proceedings in FIR No.328 of 2017 on the file of Kurnool II Town Police Station, Kurnool, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 324 r/ w 34 IPC and Section 3 (I) (S) of SCs and STs (POA) Amendment Act, 2015.

After arguing the matter for awhile, Sri G. Suryanarayana, learned counsel for the petitioners/ A.1 and A.2, requested this Court to direct the concerned to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines issued by the Apex Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er 1 In view of the request made by the learned Counsel for the petitioners, the Police of Kurnool II Town Police Station, Kurnool, are directed to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., and the guidelines laid down by the Supreme Court in Ar n esh Ku m ar v. St at e of Bih ar an d an ot h er . With the above direction, this Criminal Petition is disposed of. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall stand closed.
