Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

With the consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage.

The present Writ Petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus, declaring the action of respondent No.2 in postponing the review petition No.P1/89/2006 of respondent No.3 from time to time without hearing the matter as illegal and arbitrary. 4.

A perusal of the material placed before the Court would show that this Court in W.P.No.27652 of 2005 while setting aside the proceedings of Chief Commissioner of Land Administration dated 23.03.2005, remitted the matter to the revisional authority to consider the review filed by the State and pass orders as warranted by law, after affording due opportunity to all the parties including affording personal hearing by due intimation of the date of personal hearing well in advance. Further, the Court directed the parties to place all relevant documents in support of their claim and that the said exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

Learned Government Pleader for Revenue submits that he has no objection for the above said direction provided the order is not challenged before any authority or any Court.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to dispose of the review application filed by the third respondent, as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the review application may be disposed of by 19.01.2017. Hence, if possible, the respondent-authorities shall dispose of the review application by 19.01.2017 after hearing all the aggrieved persons and pass orders, in accordance with law.
