THE HON'BLE DR. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL PETITION No.10138 OF 2017 ORDER:

This petition is filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner-A1 for the offences alleged under Sections 498-A r/w 34 IPC and 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.

It is brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Public Prosecutor that pursuant to the notice issued under Section 41-A Cr.P.C., the petitioner-A1 appeared before the Station House Officer concerned. On his appearance, he was enlarged on bail by the S.H.O. concerned. The learned Public Prosecutor has shown bonds etc., furnished by the petitioner-A1 and also submitted on written instructions given by the S.H.O. 3.

Under these circumstances, nothing survives to decide this case.

Accordingly, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
