The case of the petitioners is that they filed appeal before the 2nd respondent against the proceedings in case No.D.Dis.(E5)1889/2016, dated 03-09-2016 passed by the Joint Collector, SPSR Nellore District on 15-09-2016 along with stay petition. As no orders are passed even before the expiry of appeal, entries in revenue records have been changed from 09-09-2016 mentioning as government lands. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue. Since it is stated that the appeal filed on 15-09-2016 against the impugned proceedings, it is for the 2nd respondent to dispose of the same and pass appropriate orders.

In view the same, the 2nd respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till the disposal of the appeal, the petitioners shall not be dispossessed from the subject land.
