This Criminal Petition is filed by the petitioner-A.1 under Section 438 of Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to him in Crime No.223 of 2017 of Veeraballi Police Station, Veeraballi, YSR Kadapa District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 498-A I.P.C., Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 3(i)(r) of the S.Cs. and S.Ts. (POA) Amendment Act, 2015.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner-A.1, and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent-State, apart from perusing the material available on record. Vide the orders dated 13.11.2017 in Crl.P. No.10501 of 2017, this Court directed the Station House Officer concerned to follow the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Arnesh Kumar v. State of Bihar and another1. In view of that, there is nothing to decide in this case. Hence, the Criminal Petition is closed.
