The petitioners, who claim to be the owners of various properties situated on the Port Road, Machilipatnam, Krishna District, filed this Writ petition with the grievance that respondent Nos.2 and 3 have been proposing to demolish their properties for the purpose of road widening without following the due process of law.
Mr.N.Venkateswarlu, learned Standing Counsel for Municipalities (Andhra Pradesh) appearing for respondent No.2, on instructions, submitted that respondent No.2- Municipality has inspected the properties of the petitioners and various others for assessing the value of the properties that may be required to be demolished for the purpose of road widening and that respondent No.2 will not affect the properties of the petitioners, in the event they are required to be removed for the purpose of road widening, without following the due process of law.
In view of the above submission of the learned Standing Counsel, which is placed on record, no further adjudication of the Writ Petition is
necessary.
The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP.No.2954 of 2015, filed by the petitioners for interim relief, is disposed of as infructuous. ______________________ (C.V.Nagarjuna Reddy, J) Dt: 28th January, 2016 lur
