This Criminal Petition, under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/ accused No.4, for grant of regular bail in Crime No.3 of 2016 on the file of the Donkarai Police Station, East Godavari District, registered for the offences punishable under Section 8(C) read with Section 20(b)(ii)(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
2 .
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/ accused No.4, learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the respondentState and perused the record. 3 .
The material on record reveals that on 27.03.2016, , the petitioner/ accused No.4, along with the other accused in this case, were carrying 800 kilograms of Ganja by a EICHER van bearing registration No.AP 31 X 0207.
