HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V. SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION NO: 4 1 7 1 9 OF 2018 O R D E R :

This writ petition is filed invoking the inherent jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to implement the directions of the letter dated 16-02-2018 issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas by closing down the extension counter at Ranasthalam and to direct respondents 2 to 4 to enter into suitable agreement for the transfer of existing customers catered by respondent No.6 through the extension counter to the petitioner in accordance with the letter and circular issued by respondent No.1 and to pass such other suitable orders as this Court may deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

2. Heard Sri Krishna C.V. Grandhi, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri B.Mayur Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 and 3.

3. The petitioner herein for redressal of its grievance submitted a representation on 17/10/2018 to the respondent-HPCL. It is the grievance of the petitioner herein that no action has been taken on the said presentation and in view of the same, the petitioner herein is sustaining irreparable loss and hardship. In elaboration, it is further submitted by the learned counsel for the

petitioner that the said action is contrary to the circular No. P20019/56/2016-LPG issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, dated 16/02/2018. Since the representation for redressal of grievance is pending, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the respondents 2 to 4 to verify the representation dated 17/10/2018 of the petitioner, take appropriate action in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in accordance with Circular No. P-20019/56/2016-LPG issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, dated 16/02/2018 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

5. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
