THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 26142 of 2016 O R D E R:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Revenue (Andhra Pradesh) on behalf of the respondents.

The grievance of the petitioners in this Writ Petition is that though they have presented a document in respect of the land admeasuring 5,685.61 square yards in R.S. No. 170/2C situated at Tadepalli Village and Mandal, Guntur District, Andhra Pradesh for registration, the 2nd respondent Sub-Registrar, Mangalagiri has not received the same.

The learned Government Pleader is fair enough to submit that the 2nd respondent will receive the document submitted by the petitioners and if he is not inclined to register the said document, he will pass an order under Section 71 of the Registration Act, 1908 and communicate the same to the petitioners.

In view of the said submission, the 2nd respondent is directed to receive the document presented by the petitioners and consider the same for registration. In case, the 2nd respondent is not inclined to register it, he shall pass a reasoned order under Section 71 of the Act within four weeks from the date of submission of the document and communicate the same to the petitioners.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of with this order. No costs.

Consequently, the Miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
