HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No.5767 of 2002 ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus declaring the Notification vide Roc.No.RR4/21864/Adv.192/2001, dated 24.11.2001, of the 2nd respondent, as arbitrary and illegal. A sought consequential direction to the 2nd respondent is sought to include the other similar categories such as AOC, EME, AMC, MEG as eligibility along with infantry or artillery and thereby, recruit security guards for TTD from Chittoor Sainik Welfare Exchange only as followed in the previous selections.

Heard Sri R.G.Hari Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri B.Rajeswara Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent-Tirumala Tirupati Devastnam, Tirupati. 3.

On instructions, it is submitted by learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent that pursuant to the Notification, dated 24.11.2001, issued by the 2nd respondent, the recruitment process for filling up of security guards was completed and all the posts were filled up. Therefore, the cause in this Writ Petition does not survive for further adjudication and it has become infructuous. 4.
