THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.K.JAISWAL CRIMINAL PETITION No.9173 of 2016 ORDER:

This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/Accused seeking to quash the proceedings in S.C.No.39 of 2013 on the file of SCs & STs (POA) Special Trial Court-cum-VII Additional District and Sessions Judge, Ranga Reddy at L.B.Nagar, against him.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner/Accused and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing the State. A perusal of the complaint, discloses that there is material which is sufficient to proceed with the trial and prima-facie, it cannot be said that it is a fit case that the proceedings are liable to be quashed. In that view of the matter, this Criminal Petition is disposed of directing the learned trial Judge to proceed with the trial in S.C.No.39 of 2013 and dispose of the same within a period of three months from today without further insisting for the presence of the petitioner/Accused on each and every date of hearing, unless it feels that his presence is necessary for any specific purpose. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
