This writ petition is filed assailing the in-action on the part of the 2nd respondent in considering the applications of the petitioners made for regularization of the government land in their occupation in terms of the scheme evolved by the Government vide GO Ms.No.388, dated 24-08-2017. 2.
The grievance of the petitioners is that pending their applications for the regularization, respondents 3 and 4 are trying to dispossess them from the subject lands. Hence, this writ petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Asst. Government Pleader for Revenue. 4.
Inasmuch as the petitioners are seeking for regularization of the government land for use as house sites, the competent authority is directed to consider the applications of the petitioners made in that behalf in terms of GO Ms.No.388, dated 24-08-2017 and pass appropriate
orders thereon in accordance with law, within period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Till then status-quo as to the possession of the petitioners shall be maintained.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. Miscellaneous petitions if any pending in this case shall also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
