Petitioner claims to be the owner of the property bearing Door Nos. 3/200(1) and 3/200(2) of Chemmumiyapet, Kadapa City, Kadapa District.
Petitioner claims to be running iron safes workshop. The grievance of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is confined to the action of the respondent Municipal Corporation in not accepting the property tax even though the petitioner is coming forward to pay the property tax and that no demand notice is served on him with reference to the amount of property tax payable by him. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted a representation as early as on 19.1.2013 requesting the municipal authorities to collect the property tax to the subject premises but they are not collecting. Learned Standing Counsel on instructions submitted that the representation alleged to have submitted by the petitioner on 19.1.2013 is not traceable and if the petitioner submits a fresh representation, the matter would be examined and appropriate decision would be communicated to him.
Having regard to such submission, learned counsel appearing for petitioner submits that the petitioner would be advised to submit a fresh representation.
The Writ Petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make a fresh representation to the second respondent
PNR,J W.P.NO.42115 OF 2016 Municipal Corporation with reference to his grievance and as and when such representation is submitted, the second respondent shall consider the same and communicate his decision to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of such representation. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, pending if any, shall stand closed.
