This revision petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India challenging the order dated 31.08.2017 in I.A.No.1119 of 2017 in O.S.No.324 of 2017 passed by the III Additional Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Hyderabad, dismissing the petition filed under Order IX Rule 7 C.P.C. to set aside the exparte order passed on 21.06.2017.

After hearing both counsel, learned counsel for the respondent did not dispute the right of the petitioner to file written statement and requested this Court to pass appropriate orders directing the petitioner to file written statement within15 days from today.

Accordingly, the revision petition is allowed with consent directing the petitioner/defendant to file written statement within 15 days from today. In the event of failure to file written statement within time, the order stands cancelled. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this petition shall stand closed.
