This writ petition is filed praying to grant the following relief: "...

to issue a Writ or Order more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of respondents, in canceling the assignments of the petitioners and resuming the lands in Gani village of Gadivemula Mandal without following due process of law, and in not deciding the appeal petitions pending before the 3rd respondent and taking over the possession of the said lands without following due process of law and without payment of statutory benefits as illegal, unconstitutional and against the principles of natural justice and consequently direct the 3rd respondent to immediately dispose of the appeal petitions pending before him with regard to the lands of the petitioners to be followed with payment of compensation and Rehabilitation Resettlements benefits or alternatively to pay compensation and rehabilitation entitlements immediately as per the law along with penal interest of 12% from the date of taking of possession of lands of the petitioners in Gani village, Gadivemula mandal, Kurnool forthwith by negotiations and pass such other further order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit ...."

During the course of hearing, the learned counsel for petitioner as well as the learned Government Pleader representing the respondents agreed for disposal of the writ petition in terms of the directions issued by the learned single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.16274 of 2016 and batch, dated 14.07.2017.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with the following directions: (a) The petitioners are directed to file petition / representation before the respondents 3 and 4 claiming compensation for resuming the assigned land from petitioners, within one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(b) The petitioner shall state all the details and enclose true / Xerox copies of all the documents in their possession in support of their claim for compensation.

(c) The petitioner shall further produce originals in the enquiry to be held by respondents 3 and 4 and also return the originals for receiving the compensation from the respondents for resuming the assigned land.

(d) Respondents 3 and 4 are directed to start enquiring each one of the claims expeditiously and meticulously, take all steps required for completion of enquiry and payment of compensation to each one of the petitioners as noted above within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of representation / application referred to in (a) above.

No order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
