Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration appearing for respondent No.1; Sri N. Praveen Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for Municipality appearing for respondent No.2 and learned Government Pleader for Revenue (TG) appearing for respondents 3 to 5. 2.
These writ petitions are filed alleging that the properties which petitioners claim as owned by them are sought to be affected for construction of office buildings and dumping garbage generated from Mahabubabad Town, respectively, without initiating the proceedings under the Land Acquisition Act and without paying compensation and the same is illegal.

When the matters are taken up, learned Standing Counsel for Municipality, the 2nd respondent herein, fairly submits that the Municipality will follow due process as required by the Land Acquisition Act before acquiring the private properties for public purpose. 4.
In view of the fair submission of learned Standing Counsel, the Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the Municipality, the 2nd respondent, to follow due procedure as required by the Land Acquisition Act subject to verification of title deeds of the properties claimed by the petitioners as owned by them. Pending miscellaneous petitions shall stand closed.
