At the time when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor placed on record the information submitted by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Rolugunta Police Station, wherein it has been mentioned that the Police after completing investigation filed charge sheet on 22.08.2011 before the Metropolitan Sessions Judge, Visakhapatnam, and the learned trial Judge, after conducting trial, acquitted the petitioner herein on 17.06.2016. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

Hence, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
