This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to respondents not to cancel the possession certificate issued in favour of the petitioner pertaining to plot No.53 to an extent of Ac.0-2 1⁄2 cents of in Sy.No.337/1B of Pasalapudi Village, Rayavaram Mandal, East Godavari District.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader produced written instructions stating that vide proceedings dated 19-11-2018 possession certificate of the petitioner was cancelled. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since proceedings were issued on 19-11-2018 cancelling the possession certificate of the petitioner in respect of subject land, the petitioner may be permitted to avail alternative remedy of appeal before the Revenue Divisional Officer against the said proceedings.

In view of the same, the writ petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to avail alternative remedy before the 3rd respondent. Interim order of status-quo granted on 05-12-2018 shall continue for a period of four weeks to enable the petitioner to file appeal before the 3rd respondent. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
