GANGA RAO WRI T APPEAL No.1602 of 2017 JUDGMENT: (Per VRS,J) The issue raised in this writ appeal is squarely covered by the decision of a Division Bench of this Court in a batch of cases in W.A.Nos.6 of 2017, dated 4.07.2017.

2. Therefore following the same, this writ appeal is also disposed of holding that the benefit of Section 47 of the Act shall be available only to those who are covered by the disabilities specified in Section 2(i) of the Act; it is open to the appellants-Corporation to take a decision, on grievance of the respondent-writ petitioner, with utmost expedition preferably within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order; and the respondent-writ petitioner is at liberty thereafter to avail his remedies in terms of the judgment of the Supreme Court.
