When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned Government Pleader on instructions that the police authorities have registered a crime in FIR.No.776 of 2018 on 03.12.2018, on the file of Ramagiri Police Station, for the alleged offence under Section 498-A r/w Section 34 I.P.C and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and a copy of the FIR is placed on record.

Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to proceed strictly in accordance with law. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
