THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.3082 OF 2016 ORDER:

Heard.

The petitioner made an application dated 20.10.2014 before the Tahsildar, Thipparti Mandal, Nalgonda District, the 3rd respondent, in the prescribed proforma under Rule 13 of the Andhra Pradesh Water, Land and Trees Rules (for short, 'the Act') to dig a new Well and also paid the requisite fee and the said application is acknowledged by the 3rd respondent. Alleging that no orders are passed by the 3rd respondent on the said application, the petitioner filed the present Writ Petition.

In the circumstances, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the application dated 20.10.2014 of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders thereon in accordance with the Rules within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner. The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
