THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M. SATYANARAYANA MURTHY CRIMINAL PETITION No.15508 OF 2016 ORDER:

This Criminal Petition, under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (for short 'Cr.P.C.'), is filed to quash the proceedings against the petitioners in Cr.No.397 of 2016 of Chandrayangutta Police Station, registered for the offence punishable under Section 506 of Indian Penal Code, 1860. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor for the State of Telangana brought to the notice of this court that the entire investigation was completed and filed charge sheet on 17.10.2016 , it was numbered as C.C. No.613 of 2016.

In view of filing of charge sheet, the criminal petition has become infructuous.

Hence, the criminal petition is dismissed as infructuous granting liberty to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings in C.C. No.613 of 2016.

Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
