This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the second respondent in taking action against the fifth respondent in spite of the report/recommendations of the fourth respondent vide Lr.Rc.No.4857/2015/E1 dated 30.08.2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that disciplinary proceedings were initiated against the fifth respondent vide G.O.MS.No.57, Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (VIG.III) Department, dated 24.10.2017.

In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the very purpose of filing the writ petition has become infructuous.
