HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 8612 of 2002 O R D E R:- This writ petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus declaring the Memo dated 4.4.2000 issued by the 2nd respondent as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, to direct the respondents to pay the salary of the petitioner's husband for the services rendered by him from 1.7.1987 to 30.6.1989 with interest at the rate of 24% p.a. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the husband of the petitioner worked with the respondents, but the respondents have not paid the salary to him from 1.7.1987 to 30.6.1989 and therefore, the respondents may be directed to pay the salary of the husband of the petitioner. Having considered the submissions made by the parties, this Court is of the view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondents to re-consider the case of the petitioner for payment of salary of her husband and pass appropriate orders.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to re-consider the case of the petitioner for payment of salary of her husband and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks, in accordance with the rules, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Consequently, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
