Criminal Petition Nos.12850 of 2018 and 12851 of 2018, under Section 439(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, are filed by the petitioner/de facto complainant seeking a direction to cancel the bail granted on 23.07.2018 and 29.02.2018 to respondent No.2/accused in Crime Nos.184 of 2018 and 57 of 2018 of Kurnool II Town Police Station, Kurnool, Kurnool District respectively for the offence alleged under Section 506 I.P.C. 2.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner/de facto complainant, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor representing respondent No.1/State and perused the record. 3.

In the course of submissions, it is brought to the notice of this Court that respondent No.2/accused has been demanding more amount than the amount due from the de facto complainant. In that process, it is alleged that respondent No.2/accused threatened the de facto complainant with dire consequences. As per the material on record, there is justification in granting bail in favour of respondent No.2/accused. There is nothing to interfere with the same. The applications are devoid of merit and are liable to be dismissed.

Accordingly, both the Criminal Petitions are dismissed.

Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in these Criminal Petitions shall stand closed.
