ORDER
This petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is filed by the petitioner/A1 seeking to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.108 of 2015 on the file of the XVII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, for the offences punishable under Sections 406, 419, 420, 494, 506 IPC r/w 156(3) Cr.P.C., against him.
2. It is alleged in the charge sheet that the de facto complainant married A1 on 17.12.1989 as per Hindu rites and customs. At the time of marriage, her parents gave sufficient dowry as demanded by the accused. After some time, the petitioner/A1 addicted to bad vices and used to harass her by demanding additional dowry and beat her and her children. She came to know that on 02.05.2014, during the subsistence first marriage, A1 married A2 and thereafter, A1 and A2 threatened her with dire consequences. Based on the complaint, a case in Cr.No.421 of 2014 u/s.406, 419, 420,494,506 IPC r/w.156 (3) Cr.P.C, was registered against A1 and A2.

In view of the serious allegations mentioned in the charge sheet, the matter has to be decided after full fledged trial and therefore, this Court is not inclined to interfere with the impugned proceedings. However, the presence of the petitioner/A1 before the trial Court is dispensed with except on the dates whenever his presence is insisted by the trial Court and he shall be represented by his counsel. The trial Court is also directed to dispose of C.C.No.108 of 2015 as expeditiously as possible preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the Criminal Petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this criminal petition shall stand closed.
