When the matter is taken up for hearing today, it is noticed that the writ petition was dismissed for default against contesting respondent No.1 vide orders dated 18.08.2010 and, thereafter, no steps have been taken to restore the writ petition against the contesting respondent. In the absence of the contesting respondent in whose favour the Labour Court passed the award, the writ petition cannot be adjudicated. Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed.
