THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE T.SUNIL CHOWDARY WRIT PETITION No.23088 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos.1 to 3 to take action against the fourth respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development (TG).

3. The case of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent, who is the Sarpanch of Bahdurpally Village, Quthbullapur Mandal, Ranga Reddy District, has misappropriated Gram Panchayat funds. He further submitted that the third respondent-District Panchayat Officer, Ranga Reddy District has withdrawn the cheque power of the fourth respondent on 04.7.2016. The petitioner lodged a complaint with the second respondent on 24.5.2016 to take action against the fourth respondent. The only grievance of the petitioner is that the second respondent has not passed any order on the representation of the petitioner.

4. Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent is hereby directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 24.5.2016 in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending in this writ petition, shall stand closed.
