HONOURABLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR WRI T PETI TI ON Nos.42584, 42106, 42109, 42121, 42583, 42587, 42588, 42589 & 42590 of 2018 COMMON ORDER:

The prayers of the petitioners in this batch of cases run on the same lines. All of them assail the alleged action of the Tahsildar, Quthbullapur, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, and the Station House Officer, Jagathgirigutta Police Station, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, in trying to dispossess them from their individual plots in Sy.Nos.329/1 of Gajularamaram Village, Qutbullapur Circle & Mandal, Medchal-Malkajgiri District, without following the due procedure laid down by law.

By individual interim orders passed in each of the Writ Petitions, statusquo as regards the possession of the subject plots was directed to be maintained.

On 19.02.2019, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, stated that the police authorities are not interfering with the possession of the petitioners.

Today, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Revenue, State of Telangana, would inform this Court that some of the petitioners in these cases are asserting rights on the strength of patta certificates while others are purchasers from the original pattadars. He would further state that in the event any action is warranted on the part of the revenue authorities in relation to the individual plots in the occupation of these petitioners, necessary steps would be initiated in accordance with the due procedure. He would further inform this Court that by virtue of the status-quo orders granted in these Writ Petitions, the authorities are precluded from taking this step. In that view of the matter, all these Writ Petitions are disposed of directing the revenue authorities not to interfere with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioners over the subject plots except in accordance with the

due procedure laid down by law, in such of the cases where interference is warranted.

In the light of this final order, the status-quo orders granted in all these Writ Petitions shall stand vacated.

Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
