ORAL ORDER:

Petitioner filed this writ petition aggrieved by the alleged action of the municipal corporation demolishing part of the compound wall and seeking to demolish the school building.

This Court by order dated 6.10.2016 ordered to maintain status quo for a period of three weeks, as regards physical features and possession of the main building as on that date, which was subsequently extended further by two weeks by order dated 27.10.2016.

When the matter is taken, learned standing counsel represents that in order to avoid flooding due to heavy rains, partially compound wall was removed and respondent corporation would follow due process before taking further course of action, if necessary.

Having regard to the same, writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent municipal corporation to follow due process before taking any coercive action against the petitioner. No costs.
