HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35352 of 2016 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed by the petitioners under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to respondent No.3 to act on the complaint dated 27.9.2016.

Heard and perused the material available on record. 3.

The main grievance of the petitioners is that respondents Nos.6 to 9 are trying to occupy their lands illegally and the petitioners gave complaint on 27.9.2016. But no action was taken so far. 4.

Considering the circumstances of the case and the grievance of the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on merits, the Writ Petition is disposed of with the following direction:

"Respondent No.3 is directed to register the complaint of the petitioners dated 27.9.2016, if it discloses any cognizable offence and proceed in accordance with law. If the 3rd respondent fails to register the complaint, the petitioners are at liberty to avail the remedies that are available under Cr.P.C."

There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
