ORDER:
The petitioner is challenging the age prescribed in the recruitment notification issued by the Railway Recruitment Board for the purpose of making recruitment to the post borne in the service of Indian Railways.
2. With reference to the grievance regarding service matters of Indian Railways where specifically jurisdiction is vested in the Central Administrative Tribunal, the aggrieved person has to invoke the jurisdiction of the Central Administrative Tribunal under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. When the petitioner has an effective judicial forum available in the form of Central Administrative Tribunal, he cannot directly invoke the jurisdiction of this Court.
3. Having regard to the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed granting liberty to the petitioner to avail the remedy as available under the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985.
