THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.20335 of 2016 ORDER:

The petitioner was appointed as Attender on 23.03.1975. Subsequently, he was promoted as Assistant Salesman in the year 1977, as Salesman in 1987, as Senior Manager in 2006, as Inspecting Officer on 23.06.2010 and as Assistant Marketing Officer on 26.04.2016. When revised pay scales of 2010 and 2015 were implemented in the case of his junior - Smt.K.Satyavathi, he submitted representations on 29.12.2015 and 01.03.2016 requesting the authorities to rectify the anomaly in the pay fixation, as his junior is drawing more pay than him. The petitioner is going to be superannuated within one year, and in those circumstances, he filed the present Writ Petition. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is going to retire within one year, and he sought for a direction from this Court to consider the representations submitted by the petitioner. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondent Nos.1 to 4 expressed no objection for disposal of the Writ Petition for consideration of the representations.

In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing respondent Nos.1 to 4 to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 29.12.2015 and 01.03.2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and pass appropriate orders thereon.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
