THE HON'BLE THE ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE RAMESH RANGANATHAN AND THE HON' BLE SRI JUSTICE GUDISEVA SHYAM PRASAD Writ Petition Nos.37330, 37332, 37333, 37340, 37380, 37382, 37388 and 37390 of 2017 Common Order : (Per the Hon'ble The Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan) Sri C. Nageswara Rao, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, would submit that the present Writ Petitions were filed questioning the demand notices issued by the Tirumala Tirupathi Devasthanams (TTD) informing the petitioners that the penalty amount levied on them, for charging rates higher than those fixed in the license agreement, was equivalent to one month's licence fee which was required to be paid by these hoteliers, failing which the licence would be terminated as per the licence conditions. After these proceedings were issued the TTD, on 14.11.

2017, is said to have adjusted the amount payable as penalty from the Security Deposit furnished by these hoteliers. Sri C. Nageswara Rao, learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, would submit that, while some of the petitioners had surrendered their licence, the licence of some others had been terminated with effect from 29.11.2017; and as the validity of the termination order is required to be put in issue, the petitioners be permitted to withdraw these Writ Petitions with liberty to urge the grounds, raised in these Writ petitions, in the Writ Petitions which they may file questioning the order of termination.

Granting liberty as sought for, all the Writ Petitions are dismissed as withdrawn. Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
