THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE RAJA ELANGO WRIT PETITION No.35850 of 2016 ORDER:
The writ petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondent authorities in not registering the F.I.R., on the written complaint, dated 14.09.2016 sent through registered post and online complaint, dated 10.10.2016, though the same attracts cognizable offence as illegal and arbitrary, and consequently, direct the respondent authorities to register the F.I.R., on the complaint, dated 14.09.2016 lodged by the petitioner and investigate the same in accordance with law.
Heard and perused the material.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though petitioner lodged a complaint, dated 14.09.2016, the fourth respondent is not registering the case and as such, he prays this Court to direct the fourth respondent to register the complaint and conduct investigation in accordance with law.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner and conduct effective investigation and file final report, if any, in accordance with law.
