The complaint of the petitioners in the present writ petition is stoppage of pension without notice. 2.
When the matter is taken up today, learned standing counsel for Gram Panchayat has placed on record a resolution bearing No.14, dated 01.05.2016, wherein the village committee resolved to stop the payment of pension in favour of the petitioners herein.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, without properly verifying the information available on record, the respondents resorted to the impugned action. 4.
On the otherhand, it is submitted by the learned standing counsel for the Gram Panchayat that as against the stoppage of pension by the Village Committee, appeal lies to the Mandal Pensions Committee, Pedapadu Mandal, West Godavari District and the petitioners can move the Mandal Pensions Committee by way of an appeal and if any such appeal is filed, the same will be considered as per law. 5.
Recording the said submissions, this writ petition is disposed of, permitting the petitioners herein to file appeal before the Mandal Pensions Committee, Pedapadu Mandal, West Godavari District, against the order of stoppage, within
AVSS,J W.P.No.27739 of 2016 a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any such appeal is filed within the time stipulated above, the same be considered and appropriate orders be passed by the Mandal Pensions Committee, Pedapadu Mandal, West Godavari, within a period of two weeks thereafter, after giving notice and opportunity of hearing to the petitioners herein.

Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, in this case shall stand closed in consequence. No order as to costs.
