THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO WRIT PETITION No.24873 of 2016 ORDER:

Petitioner's grievance is that petitioner's husband is in detention pursuant to a sentence of imprisonment imposed on him and that he wishes to send a representation to the 2nd respondent to release him on parole, but the 3rd respondent is not allowing him to sign such representation.

Learned Government Pleader for Home appearing for respondents fairly states that 3rd respondent cannot prevent petitioner's husband from sending any representation to the 2nd respondent by denying him opportunity to sign on representation for parole.

3. Therefore the Writ Petition is allowed and the 3rd respondent is directed to permit the husband of petitioner to sign on representation for parole and send it to the 2nd respondent. If such application is received by 2nd respondent, the 2nd respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law. No costs.

4. As a sequel, the miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
