THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR WRIT PETITION No.1735 of 2016 ORDER:

The grievance of the petitioners was as to the inaction on the part of the respondent authorities upon their representation dated 16.04.2015 whereunder they sought waiver of the crop loans availed by them in terms of the relevant G.Os.

Despite the matter being adjourned to enable the learned Government Pleader to obtain instructions, learned Assistant Government Pleader fairly informed this Court that she was unable to do so.

As the petitioners' representation seeking waiver of the crop loans is still awaiting consideration, adjudication of this writ petition on merits is not warranted at this stage.

The writ petition is accordingly disposed of directing the respondent authorities concerned to consider the petitioners' representation dated 16.04.2015 and take appropriate action in the matter in accordance with law. In the event the respondent authorities find the representation to be falling short in any respect, due opportunity of hearing shall be given to the petitioners so as to enable them to make good such shortfall. This exercise shall be completed expeditiously and in any event, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in the light of this final order. No order as to costs. ____________________ JUSTICE SANJAY KUMAR 10th February, 2016 IBL
