This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
"to issue writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the Respondents 2 to 4 in failing to consider the Representation of the Petitioner, Dt.08-02-2016 for Appointment on Compassionate Grounds in the 4th Respondent Office as illegal, arbitrary, un Constitutional and against the Principles of Natural Justice and consequently direct the Respondents to consider the Case of the Petitioner for Appointment to the Suitable Post in the 4th Respondent Office on Compassionate Grounds by duly considering the Representation, Dt.08-02-2016."
Heard Sri C. Hari Preeth, learned counsel for the petitioner and Smt.S. Siva Kumari, learned counsel for the respondents. During the course of hearing, it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner herein, the petitioner herein submitted a representation, dated 08-02-2016 to the 4th respondent and communicated the copies of the same to the rest of the respondents and no action has been taken by the respondents on the said representation so far.
Having regard to the nature of controversy, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to take appropriate action on the above said representation said to have been submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, by fixing some timeframe.
For the aforesaid reasons, the writ petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter and entitlement of the petitioner, directing respondents herein to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 08-02-2016 said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
