Heard the counsel for petitioner, and the learned Government Pleader for Home, for respondents.

This Writ Petition has been filed by petitioner challenging the inaction of respondents in publishing the marks of the preliminary written test of the petitioner for the post of Stipendiary Cadet Trainee (S.C.T.) Police Constable (Civil) (Men and Women) in Police Department at Serial No.1 with post code no.21 under Notification dt.31.05.2018.

The learned Special Government Pleader for Services (Home), appearing for respondents, has produced copy of the marks memo of the petitioner showing that the petitioner secured only (69) marks. 4.

It is not in dispute that the qualifying mark is (70). Therefore, the petitioner has not qualified.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending if any in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
