HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE C. PRAVEEN KUMAR WRIT PETITION No. 42374 of 2018 ORDER:

1) The present writ petition came to be filed seeking issuance of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in not awarding the contract for display of advertisement rights in Arches/ cantilever works in favour of the petitioner pursuant to tender Notice Roc.No.E-66129/ 2018 dated 03.08.2018 as illegal and arbitrary.

2) Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the petitioner would submit that though the petitioner has submitted the tender application, but for the reasons best known the same is not finalized till date. Hence, a direction may be given to the authorities to finalize the tender process at the earliest. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent did not oppose the same seriously.

3) Having regard to the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to finalize the tender process at the earliest in accordance with law.

4) Consequently, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
